Bose Creates a Built-It-Yourself Speaker for Kids

Once Bose introduced the QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones, it produced a brand new product. It’s a speaker cube. It’s actually a built-it-yourself Bluetooth speaker and targets consumers of the young age of 8 and older. This product is part of Bose’s education program, which aims at helping young children to learn more about the science of sound. The product is available now and costs $149.

Children and anyone else interested in the BoseBuild education program can learn how to build a device that reproduces music or other noise. They are provided with step-by-step instructions and can create a custom made speaker based on their personal taste. They can choose among a variety of covers and colored lights.

This is a Bluetooth speaker. In other words, once it is built it can be used with tablets or smartphones. It would be a wonderful gift to anyone and not just kids. Plenty of grown-ups will love the product too.
