EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale fans will be kept on their toes with a number of schedule changes later this month.
All three soaps will be airing outside of their usual slots as sports and Brit Awards coverage takes over the schedules.
The temporary changes begin on Monday, February 19, when EastEnders won’t air on BBC One due to live football coverage of the Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester City game.
An hour-long EastEnders will air on Thursday, February 22 from 7.30pm, with no episode on Friday due to BBC One’s coverage of the Six Nations Rugby Union match between France and Italy.
Emmerdale will have a change of its own, airing as an hour-long edition on Thursday, February 22 from 7pm, rather than its usual Thursday night double bill format.
The ITV soap will clash with EastEnders for half an hour, but has moved to ensure it has a head-start on its rival in the ratings battle.
