I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is still days away from airing its jungle crowning but two campmates are already set to reunite on-screen.
No, it’s not Harry Redknapp and Noel Edmonds on a Grand Tour-esque trek around the globe – it’s actually Emily Atack and Fleur East! They’ve both signed up for new CBBC musical comedy series Almost Never.
The series follows boyband The Wonderland and rival girl group Girls Here First competing on fictional TV talent competition The Spotlight, hosted by Strictly Come Dancing’s own Tess Daly.
When the instant fame that comes with the show starts to fade, the boys in The Wonderland will have to try to make a name for themselves on their own merit as they juggle relationships, school and increasing popularity.
Emily Atack plays one of the boy’s mums, while Fleur East has a cameo during the series too. Other supporting cast lined up include Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt as Girls Here First’s manager Sasha Small, EastEnders’ Michelle Gayle as record company boss Coleen and Being Human’s Colin Hoult as two of The Wonderland boys’ dad.
