Manchester United have emerged as the latest Premier League side to show an interest in bringing Nicolas Pepe to England this summer.
The Ivorian striker has scored 20 goals across all competitions this season for Lille, turning heads across Europe.
Chelsea have already been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old as they potentially seek to replace Eden Hazard this summer, while Liverpool have made contact with the Ligue 1 side too over a potential move.
And according to the Daily Express, United are targeting Pepe in a bid to replace Romelu Lukaku, who could leave Old Trafford before the start of next season.
Lukaku has hinted heavily that he is ready to end his Premier League stay, expressing his desire to play in Italy.
Speaking to Sky Italia, the Belgium international said: ‘Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream.
‘I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on United.’
