X Factor 2018’s champion will reportedly duet with a chart-topping star on their winner’s single as bosses push to regain the Christmas Number One.
According to The Sun, Scarlett Lee, Dalton Harris and Anthony Russell will each sing with a legendary star in the first part of the show’s finale spectacular, with some of the names including Emeli Sandé and Tom Walker.
After the final two is revealed they will then duet with a different star on Sunday and that song will be released as their debut winner’s single.
A source told the publication Scarlett will duo with X Factor 2006 champion Leona Lewis, while Dalton will sing with 2013 winner James Arthur and Anthony with Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson.
It’s also been reported that when the trio perform first on Saturday, they will each be paired with a different star for another sensational performance.
Scarlett will sing with judge and Groups mentor Robbie Williams, Dalton with Emeli Sandé and Anthony alongside Tom Walker.
The insider added: ‘The X Factor no longer has a monopoly on the Christmas No1 like in the early days, so this exciting spin on the winner’s single will ensure it is in the running.’
It remains to be seen whether the finalists will all duet on the same song, or if each will be showcasing their own musical style with a range of different songs.
